Teacher Wellness
The Teacher Love Project (TLP) addresses the critical issue of teacher wellness and its impact on student achievement. Low teacher wellbeing is a widespread problem in the US, affecting the quality of instruction and overall school performance. Research shows that teachers have two to three times more impact on student learning than any other school factor, making their wellbeing crucial to student success. Unfortunately, high levels of stress and burnout among educators lead to low morale and poor relationships with students. These factors contribute to decreased effectiveness and attrition within the profession. The TLP aims to address these issues for the long-term sustainability of quality education for students.
