Mrs. Creola Washington is the Executive Director of the Teacher Love Project. Creola is a faithful member of Deliverance Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith. This ministry was birthed in her home and has continued to grow and prosper in a tremendous manner. Creola and her husband, Tony, serve as the Pastors.
In addtion, Mrs. Washington, has served her community through the City of North Charleston for over 30 years. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Charleston Southern University and a Master Degree from Capella University. She is currently pursuing a Doctoral of Public Service Leadership specializing in Social and Community Services and Education at Charleston Southern University.
Creola is clearly dedicated to community service. Her strong faith foundation and her desire to serve others has made her a valuable and proven leader and change-agent. In 1995 she founded and has been the Executive Director of Project L.O.V.E, which stands for L.ifting O.ur V.oices for E.xcellence. Mrs. Washington has worked for nearly 25 years to advocate on behalf of families and education with a mission to empower families to excel to greatness.
Her long service to the community has formed many lasting relationships of influence and trust that have supported her efforts in the past, present, and will into future. Creola is the future of the Teacher Love Project as she accepted the position of Executive Director for 2020 earlier this year. This leadership transition is seamless for both Mrs. Washington and her service to the community as the Teacher Love Project is also dedicated to the care and encouragment of those who uplift our families and children, our teachers.
With the loving support of her husband Tony, Creola will continue her work on behalf of the Charleston community and surrounding areas. The couple resides in beautiful North Charleston where they enjoy raising their children and time spent with their grandchildren.
